The University of Sciences and Techniques of Masuku was created in 1986 in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 7/85 and by the transfer, from Libreville to Franceville, of the Faculty of Sciences, the National School of Engineering of Libreville (ENSIL), became the Polytechnic School of Masuku (EPM).
