Stephen has been working in the Agriculture sector for the last 24 years. He is the CEO of Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF) which is a regional network of national farmer unions, federations and co-operatives in 10 countries. Previously Stephen worked with leading Horticulture export companies in Kenya in senior management as Farms General Manager & as an Out growers Manager, he currently sits in boards and committees of regional and international agriculture organizations. 

EAFF is currently managing a new strategic plan (2013-2020) whose focus is Entrepreneurship and has a specific interest in use of new ICTs4Ag to aggregate farmers for output and input markets and in so doing has led to the development and deployment of the E-granary which is a mobile platform that helps aggregate virtually farmers for input and output markets and various services such as micro credit, micro insurance and e-extension
